MOA Rocks Addiction II

Malden Overcoming Addiction would like to thank everyone who attended their recent fundraiser, MOA Rocks Addiction 2, Featuring the Bon Jovi tribute band Living On A Bad Name. The money raised from this event will go directly into funding MOA's recovery coach program, assuring that all those looking for help on the road to recovery will have someone available to walk alongside them on their journey.

The event also featured guest speakers sharing stories of strength, hope and recovery and giving thanks to Malden Overcoming Addiction for the guidance and support they provided them. The message was also clear that night, that MOA will not let the stigma of addiction interfere with their efforts. Studies have proven that those in recovery who have trouble accessing support services will have a more difficult time maintaining their sobriety. Those at MOA know that in helping folks maintain their sobriety not only improves their quality of life…, but the quality of life of the entire community.

Malden Overcoming Addiction would also like to thank all of the generous sponsors of this event for making the night possible. Those sponsors are: All-Tech Electric, Wrench It Plumbing and Heating, Micro Support Group Incorporated, Sober Shuttle Inc., South Cove Community Health Center, L & L Services, Mayor Gary Christenson, Malden Police and Fire Departments, Minuteman Press, Anthony's of Malden, Irish American, The Malden State Delegation, Lucey Insurance Agency, Kathleen Manning Hall, Maria Luise, Karen Andrews, Marie Brown, Linda Cochran, Sue Jeselonis, Debra Kiley, Casey Leone, Marybeth Leone, Patti Staples, Dawn Zanazzo , Sparkling Image Car Wash, Cambridge Health Alliance.
